About CRES Training, Inc.

Come Learn With Us

The core philosophy behind CRES Training, Inc. is based on the synergy between tradition and innovation. We believe in using technology to our advantage while adhering to the original pillars and values of our organization.

We use blended learning to enhance learning and reduce the time spent in classroom lectures.  Fresh, engaging video-based learning allows the student to start and stop as often as they want and pick up wherever they are on any connected device.  Understanding is measured during the videos and confirmed during the practical sessions.  For instance, CPR/First Aid/AED practical sessions are about 1.5 hours and AVERT sessions are about 3 hours.  Sessions are often conducted at places of business, schools, churches, and meeting halls.

Product sales are in line with the subjects taught and are carefully vetted to ensure ease of use and practicality for the end-user.

Capt. Rob Smith

President

Capt. Rob Smith has been a life-long trainer beginning with teaching electronics in the USAF in the early 1970's.  After leaving the USAF, he began a career in the medical field as a respiratory therapist.  While working in the ER and the ICU's, he also taught CPR, ACLS, BCLS to staff.  He moved on to help pioneer home mechanical ventilation with Glasrock and Travenol in Tennessee.  CPR training was required for all families taking a loved one home on a mechanical ventilator.  Rob joined the USCGA becoming an instructor, instructor trainer, qualified examiner, and search and rescue professional.  Rob also went on to become a Master Captain, licensed by the USCG for power and sail up to 100 tons.  Throughout his career teaching was a passion.  Teaching others to save lives and protect their families is his goal.  Now in "retirement" he can share that education with many more.
